Magic could be an earlier thing + Bosses should matter in progression

Walheim: how to make delicious mead and what it is for

So as I was playing around and defeating some bosses I came across some staffs, I've tested them against the second and third bosses, Staff of Frost and Dead Raiser, and to my surprise those were good, but not great, since we start with elemental magic and blood magic at lvl 1, so damage, cost and etc is very low (considering you should be around at least 30 skill lvl for The Elder).

So here's the thing I were wondering:
1- Magic/Mana and world progression

Magic and mana should be unlock after the 1st boss in the form of runes (as seen in this cool mod ie), so when you defeat Eikthyr, his antler could work as an ingredient for some kind of rune or wand/staff.

Nothing fancy, just very beginners' spells. This way you could start training your magic skill and progression.

Also when you place its head on that stones things, you should permanently unlock some upgrades for you character (in that world at least), so in addition to a greater difficult overall for invasions, we also would have more reason to do so in a main world (instead of doing a boss battle world arena). So by doing this action one would increase base life, stamina and will also have as a base like 25 or 50 mana (whatever doesn't feel broken).

Why? because it's a huge work to have mana later on, to be able to do barely any good damage with the staffs ( It does damage, but when you reach this tier, you have better stuff and skills comparatively), and I also got the feeling that there's a subtle class system, where you have tank, warrior and hunter/archer from the get go, so having a mage would be a nice addition!

TL;DR: Magic after 1st boss, default mana bar from it.
