Always confirm the imposter isn't in another room before using a vent. This is common when in elec or Medbay, as they are so close together.
Never enter a room without a plan or a vent. And never commit to a task without confirming that the imposter is not near.
You are working as a team. If you can distract the hunter from a group, but you die, You just helped everyone in that group.
You can often juke an Imposter, because their vision is so low, but don't get too close.
Get a few tasks done, and then run around. Not every task needs to be completed, just a significant amount.
In the Final hide, try Pinging over a Vent. Most Imposters won't look to see if you are bluffing, making it the perfect hiding spot.
In a map like Polus or Mira, Do the tasks in the starting area first. it is rarely checked because it is assumed that you did them. Actually, in Classic, check the drop ship every once in a while.
