Funny story, I had a bounty and needed to turn in missions at a station. I couldn't because bounty, and I only had an hour left so I handed myself in.
Got transported to a prison ship in my Courier, cool. Took off and plotted a route back to the station. Upon entering hyperspace, I disconnected.
Upon reloading, I was now on foot in the Prison Ship. Alright neat, I head to the lifts, and I have no ship. Hmm… I go to the terminal, and transfer my ship (which still has a bounty btw, never hand yourself in apparently). The ship claims to take 5 minutes but never arrives. Weird.
I leave on an Apex Shuttle to go to another station. Transfer still fails. Uh oh. T
he only option at Inter Astra is to transfer my bugged ship. Fleet carriers are not valid drop off points for shuttles… uh oh.
I shuttle down to a surface outpost. Cannot recall ship, out of range.
So yeah. As far as I can tell, I've been soft locked. Yes, I did submit a support ticket, but at the time I didn't realize I was soft locked like this. Wild.
I guess the moral of the story is never break the law and turn yourself in, just keep killing forever.
